This kit has far less to assemble than previous versions. All that remains is the SCSI connector, resistor packs, and microcontroller module. Your kit PCB will look like this:
Install the microcontroller module with USB port as indicated.
Install the socket, and then the terminator resistors. These resistors must be placed such that the dot on the resistor pack is on the same side as the white silkscreen dot on the PCB.
Install the PowerBook SCSI connector onto the bottom of the PCB, as shown in the image below.
Install into the mounting bracket, and that’s it. The microcontroller module is already programmed.
