Shipping, Return, and Refund Policy

Shipping Carrier

Pirate Ship is the shipping label provider. They offer discounts on shipping rates through USPS. And they send shipping tracking information as a separate email. Please check your spam email folder for the tracking link, some people have reported it going there.

Processing Time

Orders normally ship within 3 business days. If there is a shipping delay in effect, a banner notice will be added to the site. These banners usually appear at the bottom of the display.

Shipping Addresses

Your item(s) will only ship to the destination address provided in the order information, to prevent fraud and other abuses. Please check the specified destination address carefully.

If your order is delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect address entry at time of order, a refund will not be offered. As stated above, please check the specified destination address carefully.

Use Of Forwarders / Re-Shippers Is Not Permitted

If an order destination address is a known freight forwarder or re-shipper, the order will be cancelled and refunded minus any applicable payment processor fee. Use of freight forwarders is not permitted.

VAT / Taxes / International Delivery

The buyer is responsible for all taxes, fees, duties, tariffs, VAT, or other international delivery related charges.

I have no control over customs processing times. Inspections are random. A shipment may be delayed a day, a week, or a month or more for customs processing. Watch your shipping tracking carefully, as many countries do not provide notice that an item is awaiting a fee of some sort in customs.

If an item is returned to me for lack of customs fee payment:
* A refund of the item price will be offered, but shipping and payment processor fees will not be refunded
* Any return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer

Customs Forms

Please don’t ask me to falsify customs declarations. A knowingly incorrect customs declaration can cause large fines, jail time, and loss of business license.

If you ask me to file an improper customs declaration after placing the order, or in the order notes section, the following will occur:
* Your order will be cancelled and refunded, minus non-refundable payment processor fees
* Your information will be added to a “do not sell list” and all future orders will be cancelled

Returns

If you “just want to return it”

If you decide for some reason that you want to return an item on arrival, even though nothing is wrong with it, this kind of return is accepted within 10 days of item delivery.

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, the item must be returned in “new and unused” condition, and a refund of the original purchase price (minus shipping and applicable non-refundable payment processor fees) will be offered. If the item is no longer in “new and unused” condition, a 50% refund will be offered.

Guaranteed Non-DOA

If something does arrive “dead”, please reach out at the contact email and we will debug the issue. Whether it’s shipping damage, or an unnoticed hardware fault, it will be taken care of.

Restocking Fee Notice

In the case that something appears “dead on arrival” or does not work, but after return is discovered to be in working condition with test systems, a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item original sale price may apply.

Kit Returns And Warranty

Due to the high risk of improper assembly and damage during assembly, Kit product sales are Final other than the below information about defects:

If you believe your kit has a defective part (PCB, Pico module, etc), please contact Tech by Androda, LLC using the email on the About page. We will work together to try and determine whether the problem is caused by a defective part or bad soldering. If a defective part is suspected:
* You the buyer will be asked to pay return shipping
* Your unit will be either repaired and returned for free, or:
A: If the problem source cannot be determined, a replacement kit will be offered for the cost of shipping
B: You can opt to up-charge to a fully assembled unit for the cost difference (plus shipping)

Orders That Cannot Be Fulfilled / Cancelled Orders

If you place an order that cannot be fulfilled and must be refunded, we reserve the right to retain any non-refundable payment processor fees.

Orders that fall into this category include:
* Orders to a supported country but then emailing or commenting to say that you actually live somewhere else (trying to “get around” the supported country list is not OK)
* Orders which are cancelled by the customer after payment is received, or for which there was no shipping information provided
* An order that is cancelled through exercise of the “right to cancel or refuse orders” as mentioned on the main Terms and Conditions page
