Description
Do you want to use BlueSCSI V2 with your Mac Portable? This adapter converts the Portable’s weird 34 pin SCSI cable to a standard 50 pin for use with BlueSCSI only (no external power port is provided, such as floppy or HD power). This adapter provides power to the BlueSCSI.
This adapter has specifically been designed for and tested with BlueSCSI V2 Desktop, and is likely to be compatible with other Desktop 50-pin style BlueSCSI models. The included mounting bracket only works with BlueSCSI V2 Desktop.
Both kit and assembled include:
* A mounting bracket that will hold BlueSCSI in place inside the Portable [Bracket color will vary! Blue and Beige are most common]
* The necessary 34 pin cable
* The adapter PCB (either assembled or not depending on selection)
Important Notes:
BlueSCSI V2 is not included, just the Mac Portable Adapter components.
Take care when assembling the kit. Put the 50 pin connector underneath the PCB and the 34 pin on top, as seen in the product images.
The Mac Portable needs the “Mac Plus INI File” to work with BlueSCSI V2.
Go to https://ini.bluescsi.com, click on “Mac Plus”, then download that INI file and put it at the root level of your SD card.
